During a deepener, it may be desirable to embed a trigger word so you can take your hypnotic subject to that state in the future without having to worry about going through another induction.
You can increase the power of the trigger by pyramiding the hypnotic subject. This is done by triggering off your trigger word and then waking the subject from that state a few times, each time makes it easier and helps condition the subject into the comfort of the state.
